The third day of the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl has come to an end, reaching the money bubble. The end of event’s Day 3 saw Jake Schindler as the one who ended up as a chip leader.
The $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl is hosted at the Aria Resort & Casino. The event gathered a players field of a total of 56 entries, with only 19 of them left at the end of Day 2. The entries managed to boost the guaranteed prize pool to a total of $16,800,000, with a first-place prize estimated to $6,000,000.
The money bubble of the event which takes place at the Aria Casino was reached after more than 17 levels of play. The next player who is to be eliminated from the game would leave empty-handed, while the rest of the players will be granted with a money prize that at least doubles the buy-in of $300,000 they have paid in order to enter the competition.
Despite the fact that there were many amateur players who performed excellently over the first two days of Aria’s $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl, Day 4 of the event will primarily see poker professionals gather around the unofficial final table. Still, some poker pros such as Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier and Brian Rast did not make it to Day 4, as they were eliminated over Day 3. In fact, it was exactly the current chip leader who eliminated Daniel Negreanu in a heads-up play.
As mentioned above, it is the US player Jake Schindler who tops the eight remaining players, with a total of 4,080,000 in chips. This is almost two times the amount in chips held by the second player in the ranking Christoph Vogelsang. At the end of Day 3, the latter had 2,650,000. As for the current third position, it is taken by Byron Kaverman who has 2,200,000 in chips.
Stefan Schillhabel is fourth, with 1,890,000 in chips, followed by Leon Tsoukernik with 1,780,000 in chips. Pratyush Buddiga, Justin Bonomo and Jason Koon occupy positions number six, seven and eight, respectively.
There is only one amateur poker player left among the eight ones who are to be gathered around the table as soon as play resumes for Day 4. This is the 43-year-old Leon Tsoukernik, a Czech entrepreneur and casino owner.
On the other hand, Jake Schindler who is currently the chip leader has generated total live earnings amounting to $9,252,036. His best live cash, generated after him winning the $26,000 No Limit Hold’em High Roller at the 2014 edition of PCA – Paradise Island, is estimated to $1,192,624.
The players who are to gather around the unofficial final table on Day 4 are expected to face each other in a fierce battle for the lion’s share of the massive guaranteed prize pool estimated to $6 million. Actually, the “final” table on Day 4 is not that final, which is why it is also called an “unofficial” final table. The plan is to play down to three players only, and it remains to be seen whether Schindler’s headstart would be overcome by one of the other players, or he will be the one to win the event.
